Paper Roll Core

Paper cores are long tubes used for many applications that range from paper towel rolls to cable reels, and many things in between. They are also called paper tubes, spiral-wound paper cores, and fiberboard cores.

Paper Cores Paper cores are strong cardboard tubes or cylinders which are used in fabric, adhesive, electrical, paper product and converting industries as a sturdy base around which to wind materials for storage or distribution.

Core Diameter: The core size refers to the diameter of the cardboard tube on which the plotter paper is rolled. Plotter paper rolls for inkjet printers are sold on 2-inch cores. Plotter paper rolls of xerographic copiers are typically sold on 3-inch cores.
